And so the Fifth Season of Hyrule Trivia comes to an end. You would think that after 3+ years of this stuff you'd get bored, apparently we all thought wrongly. Time and time again contestants flock from various parts of the Zelda Community to take part in our little affair, and some make it an annual duty to just try again. This is to you, all of you, the members who have taken part and never placed, the members who continue to try for that glory. Congratulations for taking this ride so far.

After a month of cruel and unforgiving questions, we finally have made it to the end. I want to congratulate you all for taking part and to make sure that next year is even better. Our Top Three this year also deserve a hearty pat on the back!

In FIRST PLACE: Dream Illusionist, with 78 points!
In SECOND PLACE: Invaderzzim, with 76 points!
In TIEBREAKING THIRD PLACE: Brainiac01, with 39 points!

All three of these handsome gentlemen have won a prize. Maybe next year you can be like these gentlemen(women) and add your name to Hyrule Trivia fame! Come back next year, roughly, around the same time, late June, to signup and tackle 20 more questions of delicious challenge.

Hyrule Trivia -Final Round- Answers

Another week and another round of questions have finally ended! It was a tough week for all of our contestants, but no one should get discouraged by a 0 or a negative score, this week is all about the comeback! The Final Round of Hyrule Trivia starts today and each correct answer gives you EIGHT, yes, EIGHT points. The scoring thus far is as follows:

You'll notice the closer we get to the end of the Season, the more people stop submitting,and I have a few things to say over again about that. It's all in good fun and with point values escalating as much as they do per round, well, you can easily go from 10th to 4th, or even higher if you know your stuff or if you're just insanely lucky. No one should quit thinking it's impossible, believe me, last year shows that it isn't impossible to get a perfect score or even jump up a handful of places because of Rounds 3 and 4.

I extend congratulations this time not to perfect scores, since there were none, but this round was sadistically difficult, but to a select few for a very select thing. Out of all the submissions only BeefyLink, Dream Illusionist, and Linox answered the Riddle correctly, and I heartily congratulate them on this feat. I have never seen such trouble brewed out of such a small riddle, so kudos to Alpha for its creation

Onto other business, Zender has finally broken down and given you all another hint to his ingenious puzzle. This is the last hint of the Season and hopefully it might spark something inside someone's mind to be able to crack the All Season Bonus. Those 20 points will surely go a long way if someone manages them. ;D

It's that time of week again, time for more Hyrule Trivia goodness. The second round of Season Five has just finished and with it come more congratulations for several members. Here is the Scoreboard thus far, props continue to go to Zender for it's design and maintenance:

Hyrule Trivia Season 5 -Round Three- Questions

It may be Wednesday but I can still report on all your Hyrule Trivia happenings. After a few problems with the PM system that occurred in the last couple of days, we finally have scores set in stone for you all to enjoy.

Our resident staffer Zender produced this year's scoreboard which I present to you now.

I give my congratulations thus far to the two leaders, Invaderzzim and Dream Illusionist for receiving full points for Round One! But no one should give in just yet, there are still three weeks to go in this competition, and as previous years have shown, anything can happen!

Also don't forget to try your hand at deciphering Zender's Bonus Question for this year, the newest staple(haybale?) to the Hyrule Trivia... wagon. I have no idea as to what I'm saying either. If you get it right you get a whopping extra 20 points for all the trouble. Round 2 questions are up and as sources tell me, when the answers are posted, Zender will give a bit of a helping hint to figuring out his devious creation.
