Wielding a Hero's Weapon

A sparked discussion between DL and I, involved just who can pull the Master Sword from its pedestal. We found the rules, purity and destiny basically. So the purpose is to ask if Princess Zelda Hyrule could actually manage to take the Blade of Evil’s Bane into her possession via the stone pulling method. One rule is that you must be worthy of the title of Hero, that only the one capable of carrying out that name can rip it free from its seal. I like to think of it in the terms of Excalibur, that only the one worthy of pulling it would be the King of England. That means that it is destiny that there is only one person who can do as such. Link is the Arthur of Hyrule. Be it having to collect the items to get the sword, or being free to pull it, it is his destiny, in his blood to be the Hero. Princess Zelda being a descendant of a Sage who would have created the blade, could have a loophole to go through, but if that is true, why not Rauru take the blade and combat Ganondorf himself in Ocarina of Time?

It’s only one person’s purpose to wield it, the Master Sword is strictly saved for one man and not a broad range of people.
