Ganondorf's Contract with Nintendo Expires

Ganondorf Dragmire, commonly known as the "Great King of Evil" announced that his contract with Nintendo has expired and he will not be seeking a renewal. "There's always hope for a new deal" stated the official mouthpiece of the dark warlock, "But he's leaning toward other opportunities at this time. Ganondorf will always be thankful for the opportunity he had to play the main villain of the Legend of Zelda series."

Ganon/Ganondorf has been the chief villain for most of the Legend of Zelda games. In the series long lifespan, he has only missed four games; the most prominent of which was his absence in the much awaited Ocarina of Time sequel. Ganondorf reportedly hurt his back playing polo, and Nintendo was forced to cast a lesser know villian to fill the role. Ganon also looked forward to playing the ultimate villian in the Oracle Series. But after coming down with a terrible cold his role was played by a stunt villian. But after serveral years of non stop work along with the long hours the series demanded, he just decided to call it quits.

Although he has had several offers, ranging from the next Final Fanasy game to Resident Evil series, Ganondorf has no plans to go back to work anytime soon. He politely turned them all down saying, "I'm getting too old for all these action games. It'll be a nice change to get away from all the stress of being a major videogame villian." Ganondorf still plans to play a cameo role in future Legend of Zelda games, but his days of fast packed fighting is over.

Ganondorf looks forward to spending time beekeeping and writing with his autobiography. The book: "I was a 9 foot pig monster and I loved it!" will be in stores December.
