Legend of Zelda the Musical
Miyamoto, creative mastermind and director of the Legend of Zelda series has given the OK for a musical to be made of the famous games. "Traditionally, people have turned games into movies or books to make more money" stated Miyamoto at a press conference "But We feel that Legend of Zelda spin-offs should be as unique as they've always been."
The roles of Link, Zelda and Ganondorf were filled prior to the announcement. However, several spots including: Malon, Talon, Epona, the King, 5 Village folk, a sheikah, and Saria are still availiable.
For the music aspect, it has been confirmed that famed musician Koji Kondo will be writting the score for the musical. Currently planned are classic Zelda songs such as "Ganondorf", "I Need me a Piece of that Triforce Baby","Mysterious Stranger","7 Years Later", and "One annoying Fairy"
Upon hearing the news numerious fans began lining up at theaters, excited and eager. "When those tickets start selling, I'll be the first one to snag'em.", explained one fan while setting up his tent. "While living on the ground for a solid will be hard on my back, watching the magic of Zelda on stage will have been worth quitting my job for." The musical is scheduled to open in 16 months.
All Zelda game production has been postponed indefinely.
