Zelda Disks and Gamecubes thrown by New Years Streaker
Canada ushered in the New Year with a chase that led through downtown Toronto, and ended wheny police gave up and joined in the festivities. The chase started on a downtown street corner, where a man (name withheld) walked out of his apartment wearing nothing but a long green hat and holding a fake plastic sword. The streaker scared a passing elderly lady, as he ran though the streets screaming "Buy Zelda! Screw the X-Box and PS2!"
Witnesses were stunned as the man proceded to throw Gamecubes at onlookers. The consoles came complete with plugged in controllers and "Zelda Collectors Edition" disk. "I tried to play Soul Calibur 2 on this thing" said one witness, "But the disk is actually crazy glued to the console. I don't even like Zelda!"
Nintendo of America issued a statement denying any involvement with the streaker. "This is clearly a publicity stunt that only Bill Gates would try. We haven't become so desperate as to hire a man to expose himself, just to give us attention. We will take it however."
Of those polled across America regarding the stunt, 2% believed Nintendo was involved in someway, while 3% couldn't care less and 95% trying to figure out where in the world Canada is.
