Link:
The hero of Link's Awakening is none other than Link himself. Caught in a dream, Link must find out how to get back to Hyrule and the beautiful Princess Zelda.

Marin:
Marin is the beautiful daughter of the mushroom hunter Tarin. She lives in the village of Mabe and likes to practice on her harp. She also has a enchanting singing voice.

Tarin:
Tarin is Koholint Island's resident mushroom picker. At the beginging of the game he gets turned into a raccoon for eating a poisoned mushroom.

Windfish:
The keeper of Koholint Island is the great Windfish. The giant sea creature sleeps in an egg at the top of Mount Tamaranch in the Tal Tal Mountains. To wake him from his deep slumber, you need all eight of the Siren's Instruments.

Owl:
This nocturnal bird gives you hints throughout your quest of Koholint. Stop and listen to what he has to say.

Ulrira:
Ulrira is Mabe Village's oldest resident. If you find a telephone booth, you can give him a call.

Richard:
Richard used to own a massive castle north of Martha's Bay. But, he was evicted after his servants got angry with him. Retrieve his Golden Leaves from his castle.
