Overview
The overwhelming negative response to "The Adventure of Link" caused Nintendo to return to the style that made Zelda popular. So in the spring of 1992, A Link to the Past graced the consoles of gamers alike. Much like the LOZ for NES, LTTP was a huge game, with a full 11 dungeons, and two full worlds to explore. A Link to the Past also contains a motherload of information about the history of Hyrule, it's past and the Triforce. LTTP also introduced many concepts, such as the Master Sword, that would soon become a staples in the Zelda series. Originally there was a sequel planned, but it was scrapped for Ocarina of Time.
