Link: Once again, our Hylian hero returns to battle the forces of evil. Once the lonely outcast of Kokiri Forest, Link meets up with a fairy named Navi to aid his quest. Journey through the ages as you start at age ten and grow up to be a seventeen year old hero.

Ganondorf: The evil Gerudo King of Thieves is in Hyrule to strike a friendship with Princess Zelda's father. Ganondorf is a brutal man with plans to take over the world with the sacred Triforce. He's using his visit to Hyrule Castle to gain access to the Royal Family's key to the Sacred Realm.

Zelda: The Princess of Destiny. Zelda has prophetic powers and predicted Ganondorf's plan to break into the Sacred Realm. A warm caring girl, Zelda also has a sense for adventure. After being surprised by Link in her garden, she depends on him to help in saving the beautiful land of Hyrule.

Malon: The beautiful daughter of Talon, manager of Lon Lon Ranch, is a very spirited and energetic girl. She has a passion for animals and can usually be found working with them or singing in the field or stable.

Sheik: This mysterious person shows up after Link awakens from his seven year slumber in the Sacred Realm. Sheik is the last of an ancient tribe called the Sheikahs whose job was to protect the Royal Family. Only seen carrying a golden harp that is used for teaching mystical melodies, Sheik shall for ever remain an enigma of time.

Saria: A young girl that has a talent for playing the ocarina, Saria was popular amongst the Kokiri children especially in the eyes of Mido. She would usually hang out in the Lost Woods near the Forest Temple and play her ocarina to relax.

Darunia: Darunia is the huge, outgoing leader of the Goron race that resides below Death Mountain. He is respected by his fellow Gorons and shows great passion for friendship. As well, Darunia loves to dance, especially to Saria's Song.

Ruto: The stubborn daughter of King Zora, Ruto is arrogant and self-centered. She refuses help even if she's in the most dangerous situations. Ruto has a weakness and that is towards Link and hopes to marry him some day.

Nabooru: Nabooru was appointed leader of the Gerudos by Ganondorf, but she refuses to follow the evil king and his twisted plots. She is greedy, yet shows no hesitance when messing up Ganondorf's plans and confusing his henchmen/women. Nabooru has her eye on Link as well, and hopes to achieve a single date with the Hylian.

Rauru: The knowledgeful Sage of Light, Rauru is full of wisdom and information. He gives his power to Link after he awakens from his seven year nap.

Impa: Impa is Princess Zelda's personal assistant and body guard. She is a descendant of the Sheikah tribe, a group of people that serve Hyrule's royal family, and Impa takes her job with great pride. Impa is resourceful and assists Link in his quest as much as possible.
