Heart Pieces found as Child Link

Lost Woods
> Repeat the three songs that the skull kids near the entrance ask you to play.
> Play Saria's Song to the Skull Kid to the left of the entrance.

Hyrule Market
> During the night, find Richard the puppy and return him to his owner in the alley.
> Complete the treasure chest guessing game. (Best done with the Lens of Truth.)

Kakariko Village
> Caged area with cow inside Impa's house (can be reached through platform on side of house).
> Once you have collected 50 Gold Skulltulas, go to the House of Skulltula and claim your prize.

Graveyard
> Push all of the tombstones back until you find a the one with the Heart Container.
> Take part in Dampe's Grave-digging Tour and hope you find it.

Goron City
> Throw bomb flowers (or bombs) into the Giant Pot.

Zora's River
> Take a cucco to the entrance of Zora's Domain. Instead of entering, jump onto the opposite path and fly over to the heart piece.
" Take a cucco past the frogs and up the two little ledges. Go to the edge (don't cross the river!) and look to the right. Fly across to the ledge you find and climb the ladder. Retrieve the cucco at the top and fly over to the heart piece.
> Play the Song of Storms to the frogs up the river.
> Win the frogs' bug catching game.

Zora's Domain
> Light the torches around Zora's Domain. (Don't forget underneath the waterfall!)

Hyrule Field
> Bomb the center of the fences near the entrance to Lake Hylia and buy the piece of heart from the Deku Scrub.

Lake Hylia
> Get gold fishing scale from the pond owner and go to the laboratory. Dive and touch the bottom of the pool in the laboratory and get a heart piece from the old man.
> Go fishing in the pond and catch a fish that's around 10 pounds. Talk to the store owner and get him to weigh it and he will give you a heart piece.

Lon-Lon Ranch
> In the brick cow shed behind the corral. Pull the boxes out so you can reach the hole and crawl through.

Heart Pieces found as Adult Link

Kakariko Village
> When you exit Dampe's grave jump on the moving platform inside the windmill.
> Use your hookshot to reach the man on top of the roof.

Graveyard
> Ride magic bean platform and break the box. (plant magic beans as a kid).
> Get under a minute in a second race against Dampe

Hyrule Market
> A prize in the Bombchu Bowling game.

Hyrule Field
> Bomb next to the tree northwest of Lon-Lon Ranch.

Death Mountain
> Ride magic bean platform at entrance to Dodongo's Cavern (plant magic bean as kid)
> Climb down wall on opposite side of fire temple warp.
> Ride magic bean inside of the Death mountain crater (plant magic bean as kid).

Zora's Fountain
> On top of one of the floating pieces of ice.
> At the bottom of the lake (iron boots needed.)

Ice Cavern
> Behind one of the frozen walls in the room with the spinning "Ice Scythe".

Lake Hylia
> Ride bean plant to the top of the laboratory. (plant bean as child)

Gerudo Valley
> In wooden crate on ledge down the river (iron boots needed).
> Jump off the ledge, use the iron boots to reach the waterfall and climb the ladder.

Gerudo Fortress
> On roof above jail cell (inside treasure chest)
> Get at least 1000 or more points on archery horseback competition twice.

Desert Colossus
> Ride Magic Bean platform to heart piece (plant magic bean as kid).
