Y Hello Thar!
- July 13 2008 -

Yeah so we're back. Had some problems with the server, but everyone should be working fine now.

Also, e3 starts tomorrow! The Nintendo Conference will be held on Tuesday. Should there be a new Zelda game announced, I'm sure you'll see a post by me exclaiming my joy/dismay at the Wii/DS game announced.

Life and Times of Hyrule - Sword and Shield
- July 03 2008 -

In a rousing chain of events there is another, albeit short, article coming your way here today, known as Sword and Shield. You might very well be not-so-surprised when the next article arrives at your doorstep in the coming days. Anyhow, in Sword and Shield I discuss the strange discrepancy with the passing of 'family heirlooms' through Link's family in The Wind Waker, and also give a little theory about why the Hero's Sword and Hero's Shield are separated. Don't worry though, I've saved the best for last...or more so, next. ;)

Also Hyrule Trivia folk, Round 2 is very much under way, better make sure you get those answers in soon!

Well, hey! What better way to say it? I'm the newbie staffer at EDN. I've actually been here a while, as some of you on the forums know, but haven't had an opportunity to update. Well, until now that is, but I ain't just stoppin in to say hi. Nope, I'm comin' in with a bang. I've gotten not one, not two, but three
guides up. Talk about a bang. . . Well, yep, that's all I got. So, here's some linkage!

Majora's Mask Controls
Majora's Mask Characters
Wind Waker Item Guide

Again, great to be working at EDN. I'm out.

Life and Times of Hyrule - Evil's Royalty
- June 27 2008 -

Articles, articles, articles, that seems to be the only thing I'm producing now, doesn't it? Wait, that's my job, and I'm back to deliver, a few days early no less! This is a small followup to my previous article of Nightmares, entitled Evil's Royalty, I discuss the possibilities given to us about there being a sort of chain of command in the forces of evil. Get this, I also put out the fact that perhaps Ganondorf isn't the worst guy Link will ever face. Dive on in and take a look, it's not that long.

Also, yet again I'll put it out there to you folks in Hyrule Trivia. We're going on right now, so make sure to get your answers in soon!

Team Hyrule Trades Zelda to the Gerudo Marauders
- June 25 2008 -

In a shocking blockbuster move, Team Hyrule, fourteen time winner of the Triforce Cup, have traded franchise player Zelda to their divisional rival: The Gerudo Marauders. In exchange, Team Hyrule receives TGM’s 1st round Twilight Princess Draft pick: Zant and a second round draft pick in the next game.

"Zelda has been an important part of this organization for a long time,” stated Team Hyrule General Manager David Cutter. “However we feel that it’s in the best interest of our future to build our team around our young upcoming stars. We certainly wish the best for her in her new environment.”

Ganondorf Dragmire, captain of the Gerudo Marauders was delighted by the acquisition. “Zelda was an excellent member of Team Hyrule. While Link often stole much of the media’s attention, Zelda was always playing her best; often spoiling our nefarious plans time after time again. Clearly her experience and leadership will help our younger members get into the game.”

Zelda was not available for comment.

Player Career Stats: Zelda was drafted 3rd overall in the ‘Legend of Zelda’ draft, behind Team Hyrule and Gerudo Maraders Captains: Link and Ganondorf. With Team Hyrule she won the coveted Triforce Cup ten times; however constant injuries would keep her out play for the LA, OOA, OOS, and MM seasons. Despite assurances she was 100% for the Twilight Princess season, Zelda only appeared 3 times, forcing Team Hyrule to rely on rookie Midna to carry them to another cup victory.

Expert’s Corner: This is an interesting move by the Gerudo Maraders. Zelda will no doubt bring the knowledge and experience needed desperately on the playing field. But the Maraders will be hard pressed to pay her 8.3 million rupee contract and remain under the cap. Team Hyrule on the other hand is now riding their future hopes on Midna, putting more stress on her than last year. It will interesting to see how this all plays out in the opening cinematic of the next game.
