Q. What on earth is satire and how does it apply to Zelda?

A. Satire: A literary work in which human vice or folly is attacked through irony, derision, or wit. Hmm. That's not really what our "satires" are like. Basically what we people here at EDN do is poke a little fun at the Zelda world. Be it the age old "Triforce in OOT" rumor or just stupid things such as a Triforce 2.0. The satires we write are intended for a laugh. Not to attack or cause harm to anyone.

Q. What ever caused you to make a site based on such a stupid thing as Zelda satire?

A. Because I've found so many Zelda sites out there with a humor section so stale, I can choke on it. I wanted to make a site that people could see the lighter side of the Zelda games. Plus it's really unique too, which helps bring in hits.

Q. Why is s1.3 and s1.6 missing?. What's that all about?

A. Back in the day, when we were a small Zelda site we thought those two satires may offend certain people. Naturally they talk about two very touchy subjects, Politics and Soft Drinks. So we removed them.

Q. How come some of your satires have pictures and others don't?

A. Some are written with a picture already in mind. I fiqure, if it helps someone understand the satire or makes it funnier its a good picture. Most of the time, the words themselves are enough.

Q. Can I submit satires to the main collection of the site?

A. Yes and No. First, I will accept any satires written for the fan satire section of the site; barring it's approprate and not offensive. (ex: racism is not allowed). It also has to be relative to Zelda or EDN. To be added to the main section of the site, it has to be well written and I personally have to like your satire. If I do, I will include it in the main season of the site.

A. Yes, assuming more people ask me them.
